How Cellulite Occurs

Estrogen stimulates the breakdown of collagen, leading to weakened connective tissue and the appearance of cellulite. Fat cells (adipocytes) enlarge due to poor diet, hormonal changes, or inactivity, compressing blood vessels and reducing circulation. This results in oxygen deprivation, accumulation of toxins, and the formation of visible nodules under the skin, contributing to the dimpled, “orange peel” texture.
